On losing in the round of 16 as defending champions:

"It’s disappointing that we weren’t able to win, but we also have to respect that they were better. They played really good, they were not making easy mistakes, we really had to fight for every ball and when you’re missing one or two easy balls then it gets much more pressure for you. It’s not so easy."

On getting eliminated in the round of 16, having survived two match points in the round of 32:

"At the end it was a small margin between winning or losing. This time we couldn’t escape anymore and we lost, but I think we put up a great fight. Especially in the third and the fourth set were crucial and it was 9-9 two times but we lost both of them. I think that if we would’ve won one set there, we had the crowd behind us and I think we would’ve been able to come back and maybe win this match."
