On winning gold
"I saw that it was a very tight race, I felt that I should be on the podium, and I was very pleased to see that I won. Such tight competition and the close finish makes the victory even sweeter."

On racing the 200m:
"Through my career this is already a fourth different race I am training for, but 200 is 200. It is nice that I am able to compete and even be competitive for the win. A lot of focus throughout the race and now I am pleased with a win."
On winning silver
"I feel good. The race for me had a very difficult middle. The last metres I feel very good and strong. The silver medal for me is a good thing."
On winning bronze
"It doesn't matter what colour the medal is, every kind of medal is a big happiness for me. I'm really proud. This race was one of the best in my career."

On having been world champion two weeks ago:
"It wasn't easy to be relaxed and forget about the world championships in Halifax (Canada) for this championships. But I did what I could do, and it doesn't matter that this is bronze and not gold."
