On winning silver
Alfonso Benvanides (ESP)

On a close finish:
"It was a really tough race. When we arrived we don't know which position we will stay, but finally we're in the second place. We're so happy about this place."

Antoni Segura (ESP)

On the race:
"Not such a good start, but managed to chase the leading guys and we are happy getting a medal.”
On winning bronze
"This race is not bad for us, but we're paddling from one side. Today it's (the wind) blowing from left side, we're paddling from right side, so it's a little bit difficult for us. But we take third place, so we're happy."
On winning gold
“Our feeling was very good. Today was amazing weather, because yesterday was very rainy. Today we wake up, very good feelings, good weather, and we think ‘yeah, today’s that day’.

“We are a strong C2 because we have won this year gold medal in world cups, so we know we are very strong, but we don’t know what happens in the race.”

On the race:
“We started and we have a little trouble with steering the boat, but then when we go straight to the finish we see all the guys going down, and we were going faster. When we just trust and control the boat, we go faster.”
