On women's lead qualification
On her performance:
“I went from pretty frustrated to the biggest joy. The first route was frustrating because I couldn’t really fight, and I just fell because I missed the pocket. Then I got super-motivated for the second one to show what I can do and to fight to the end.”

On competing at home:
“It is super-motivating and actually it pushed me a lot. At the top of the wall, I was really fighting for everything, and the crowd pushed me to do another move and another move. When I enjoy my climbing I climb the best.”
On women's lead qualification
On her performance:
“I did all right. I had a good climb in my first route, and I don’t think I could have done any better. I climbed as I had to and fought hard, so it was cool. I was more disappointed with my second route. I think I climbed well, then my heel slipped a bit, but overall, I’m happy.”

On the difference between the first and second route:
“My first route was more about endurance and power. The second route is more about commitment in the sense that you need to find the right commitment and the right energy.”
On women's lead qualification
On her performance:
“I don't feel like it was my best job ever. It's always hard to be super-satisfied, but yeah, it was ok. You want to be happy with your performance and make the best out of it. When you can't like climb to your limit, it's always a bit frustrating.”

“The strongest climber is here Janya (Garnbret, SLO), so we have good competition for sure. It is inspiring to watch her, but you can't really compare yourself because she's just on another level.”
On women's lead qualification
On her performance:
“It feels good. My last European Championship was in 2017 and it feels good to be back. That it was a good atmosphere made it even better.

“I was climbing great. I slipped in the second route, but it wasn't that bad. Unexpected things thing happen but nevertheless, I'm really happy with how I climbed.”

On chasing a first European Championships gold:
“This is actually the only title I don't have yet. I was always second at the European Championships. So it’s one of the biggest goals for this season because there are no other bigger competitions this year. A first European title would be great.”
