On winning silver:
“I enjoyed the competition and the music. The crowd was on fire and the crowd made me complete that run. So, I’m glad today that they helped me.”

On his performance:
“On my last run I made a bit of a mistake, but I don’t know what happened. I have to think about what happened. I think I started to think I was out of it, so it was second place, but I’m glad I finished second.”

On improving from 2020 European bronze:
“I’m super happy with that.”

On Poland winning four speed medals:
“The secret is we are super hard workers that is all it is.”

On his best performance:
“Against Erik Paolo Noys Cardona (ESP) in the semifinal. I know that he can have a good run. I focused on that as much as I can and my jump.”

On winning men's lead bronze

On winning bronze:
“It was actually really, really, really nice and that was my best performance since my injury. I didn't expect a lot and wanted to see what happened.

“It was my first lead since the Olympics, and I’m pleased with how it went. I wanted to see what I could do, then this happens and I’m really happy.”

On winning men's lead silver

On winning silver:
“It was amazing, unforgettable. The climbing maybe wasn’t my best, but I’m happy with it.”

On competing against gold medallist Adam ONDRA (CZE):
“He’s amazing, he’s always amazing. Nothing is hard for him, and he was just cruising up there. Nothing is hard for him.”

On winning men's lead gold

On winning gold:
“I can't believe it because I felt really tired after the semifinals because it was a very tough and really tiring physical route. After the semifinals I thought there was no way I could find one more route.

“I really enjoyed it. I truly enjoyed it and somehow the power came back, and I felt really good climbing from the very beginning. My climbing was perfect, and it was enough for victory.”

On the birth of his son Ugo earlier in 2022:
“Right before climbing in the final, I was thinking about my son and my wife, and I think it gave me like the ultimate power boost just before I started.”
