On winning women's single sculls gold |
---|
On winning gold: “It was not easy with the conditions and it didn’t feel easy to me. I know that the German (Alexandra FOESTER) has a big sprint at the end, so I knew I had to watch her before she goes crazy for the last 500m. “It wasn’t easy with headwind and others kept pushing me. I’m very happy with the result.” On competing at the 2022 World Championships in Racice, Czech Republic: “I’m very excited, We’ll go straight to the training camp and hope I can take the next step.” |

On winning bronze |
"Honestly, I didn't think this would happen. The conditions were quite hard but I am very relieved now. Also the audience was so great, I heard them cheering along the course." |
|
On winning silver |
"It was a really amazing race. It was a really tough race. I'm a lightweight and I was racing in the openweight category, but I make it. "I tried my best and I'm really happy that I succeed." On her tactics: "The truth is that I have the same strategy in every race. I'm just trying to be in front, maintain, don't want to give up when the other scullers are next to me. I want to go one step further." |
