On her time in the final:
“It’s really unbelievable for me as it’s nearly 1 second faster than my best time before and I didn’t expect to ride that fast and riding that record at sea level...it’s pretty awesome and quite unbelievable."

On winning the title on home soil:

“I was pretty nervous as my friends and family are all watching me today live but it’s so cool when you cross the finish line and everyone cheers you on and shouting the German flag is everywhere, it’s pretty cool”

On the 200m track:

“I think it’s challenge in sprint, keirin but for time trial I think it’s pretty good for now. (In Keirin) it’s full gas and whoever’s up front will probably win. It has not much to do with tactics, which makes it a bit difficult because normally we don’t ride that way.

“In the time trial, the corners gave me a lot, Pauline (Grabosch) said something completely different. She thought that the curves did not suit her well.”
On winning the bronze:
“I am happy, I came very close to second place, which unfortunately did not come. The other girl went faster.”

On winner Emma Hinze:

“We all know who Emma is and her class. She proved today that she is the best.”
On winning silver:
"Last time I started 500 metres was a long time ago so I am very happy about my result today.”

On training in war-torn Ukraine:

“It is really hard when I am at home, when I hear the air raid sirens and I know that many of Ukrainian native citizens are being killed every day. So it’s really hard for me to train, but I am happy that I am able to be here and I am able to compete and to be able to show that Ukraine is a really strong nation."
