On winning bronze
Victoire Berteau (FRA)

On winning bronze:
"We were disappointed this morning in the heats to be beaten by a few hundredths of a second by the Italians. It was difficult this afternoon to motivate ourselves for this evening.

"During the warm-up we switched our mindsets and there you go, that did it in the final."

On the 200m track and catching up the British team:
"It's a faster track (than the usual 250m track), so when you get to the turn and you see them at the start or the middle of their turn, when you're a bit ahead, you're definitely motivated to put even more in to catch them."

Marion Borras (FRA)

On overtaking the Great Britain team:
"We started at the same speed as this morning, we knew we could go fast. This morning we were a bit crushed at the finish, we hoped that we'd be able to hold our pace as long as possible.

"It's true that when we saw them quite quickly it motivated us even more, and we put everything in to chase them down and finish on a high note."
