Second 14.36 q
I feel good but tomorrow are already Long Jump finals. I hope that I can get medals in both Long Jump and Triple Jump. I want to jump my personal best in the Triple Jump beacuse I am ready for it and I think it will be possile to do it in the final. After Eugene I went to the training camp near Berlin which is a great place to train, to be in the forrest and sleep well. It helped me a lot because traveling from Eugene was long and exhausting. I am looking forward to both Long and Triple Jump finas.
Winner 14.45 SB Q
Things start to happen when I'm feeling free and relaxed. Obviously, my goal was the bg Q - we all hope for this, but I had to come out here with an open-mind, because my preparation was tought. Before coming here, it wasn't easy, but since I competed in Oregon, I had some rest and treatments which made me feel injury-free. This really improved my self-confidence. At the Diamond League in Monaco, I still wasn't at my best - at least if compared to how I felt this morning - but when you feel free, results often come through. Now, I need to think abiut the final, and about the fact that I have 3 more jumps to make it to that final group`. I am going to give it my all, and I hope to do a good jump. In the final, you always need to reset, and start from scratch, because anything could happen. It is not unusual for athletes to have a good qualification, then feel the lack of energy once the finals comes. I need to focus in the recovery process, and ensure I maintain these confidence levels - I want to do the best I can.
