I planned to jump the qualification standard in the first attempt but it did not happen. In the second attempt while trying to jump the standard I jumped a half of a meter before the board. I did not know what I was doing in the final attempt but I managed to jump the furthest jump today and to qualify for the final even without a standard. It is always stressful to jump in the qualifiactions. I believe that all athletes enjoy more competiting in the final than to compete in the qualifications. Now is time to relax and to prepare for the finals. As I am 32 years old and I am slowly bringinng my career to the end, I wanted to compete at both Worlds and Euros this year. I pulled out of the Euros final in Berlin 2018 because of the injury. That is the reason why I am here today. I want to make it up for that. Everything is possible in the final. |
