Event Reports

Fourth 57.82 q
The qualifications are tough so I am glad I managed to secure the spot in the final and I believe it is going to be a different throwing in the final.
The surface is a bit softer so you have to run a bit faster on it. But it is hard to say. As the qualification was in the morning, it made the things more difficult for all of us.
Winner 60.75 q
This is the place where I started my international career in 2002 but I did not make it to the final at the time. So I told myself in the morning, that I cannot spoil it today.
All the last week, I was very nervous but last night, I got better. I told myself there is no reason to be nervous. I have gone through this so many times before, so I should be used to it.
I managed so many various situations in my career and today, I just played it safe. I believed in myself. The throw was not ideal so I believe there is still more to come. I feel no pain so it is hopeful before the final.
I am really looking forward to the final with all my fans coming to support me. And I am very glad that all three Czech girls made it to the final. It is special.
Fifth 57.70 q
I was very nervous as this is my first major senior championships. I didn't enter the competition the way I wanted. The first throw was desperate because of all the nervousness I had. The second throw was solid but it was a fault. Getting to the final attempt got me really nervous after that two Xs. The final throw wasn't the best one but it made me enter the final which makes me really happy. I hope that I could throw more relaxed in the final. I am looking forward to throw 60m +. I am honoured to compete with all Javelin Throw big names such as Spotakova, Kolak, Ratej and other big names I used to watch on the TV. I hope to throw the best possible in the final.
