This season was surprise after surprise. It was an amazing season for me, and this medal it the top of the season. I achieved two Italian records, I am very happy to get here. I came here to win a medal. I have to admit that I hoped to do better because of my qualification mark. I am very proud of my team, i.e. my coach and my teammates. This medal means a lot to me. Tomorrow I will analyse with my coach, something went wrong today in my throws, something did not work. At the start of the season I did not expect such a great finish.

I came here with no expectations, I do not believe it. I am in shock and I did not expect anything like this. In the warm-up, I felt good but I did not expect I would be able to fight for a medal. I was not even in the ranking but my federation sent me here because they saw some talent in me. Now, I am very glad they did it. This is my first major senior outdoor competition and it is a medal... silver medal. I have a new coach since last year - it is a former coach of the Olympic champion Nowicki, and the new coach changed a lot. Still, I have a huge space for improvement.

I am very happy that I won a gold medal because my family is here with me. I also like my result, I had all throws over 71 m. This was important for me. Thank you all for this competition and for the spectators who cheered a lot. I want to win a medal at next year's World CHampionships in Budapest.
