I started very cautiously at my first two attempts, with slight blockades. But then I told myself "You want to achieve great things here so you have to take a risk." The competition could have been smoother, but at the end I have the Q, so everything is fine. That is the mosts important thing. Here, you feel that the crowd is behind you, they support us so much. My preparation at the pre-camp in Erding went well. Yet, at the final training session I hurt myself at my chest and I still felt it today. At the final I want to improve today's result. I am dreaming of a medal, no matter what colour and no matter what result.

I opened with a weak throw because I stepped on the circle, that's why I only threw around 62,50 metres. I know my final mark was enough to make it to the final, but I didn't go out of the stadium without feeling the atmosphere. My second throw was also a good one, and in the end I had to regain focus - so I am happy with 65,94 metres. I think tomorrow it is going to be a good final. I needed to find a final good throw, my life depends on this. The European Championships are always very special to me, because my first major medal in history was an european gold medal - in Barcelona. I am not that old, but I have so many medals - this is the reason why I keep pushing myself, and give my best. I am out here to enjoy myself, and I am proud to be the number one in Europe, and to represent Europe around the world. They all know who the Discus girl is, and I think I want to stay in this position for a long time.
