Seasonal Best
Third 2:00.53 Q
Whatever we do tomorrow, each girl from the British team is just going to out 100% - our neck on the line. It's our last Championships of the year, and, as always,we're junst going to give it our best - not giving anything away. All I can sy is that I am going to give it all for me. It's going to be one of my last races of the season. So, firstly, I am goibg to enjoy what I do with every step and, secondly, give all I've got - that's enough.
Fourth 2:00.86 q
I still cannot believe it that I made it to the final! I wanted to run this race offensively, fast. When I saw that my teammate Majtie ran 2:01 in the first semi and she came fourth, I thought that I can go faster than that to qualify. So I told myself "you can do it on vour own, you do not need somebody else to pace" and led the group. It felt good to be in front and I was carried by the audience. At the end it got so hard, but I fought. I am over the moon.
Second 2:00.30 Q
We usually get the daily feedbacks towards the final. And hoping to be good out there and to get one of those medals. The weather - it is just like home. So I just went out and got the job done.
Winner 2:00.23 Q
I was focused on Christina Hering. She did an amazing race, I just needed to follow her. I also needed to go out there strong because other girls were running fast too. I really want to fight for the gold, I know that there is a big big favourite but in sports everything is possible. A medal would be so good too. I just want to give my best in the final. I hope to win a medal with the new PB. It would be a perfection combination.
