Seasonal Best
Bronze 3:21.74 SB
V. Ohuruogu, leg 1: It was a long season. I am glad that we could bring home a medal for Great Britain A Pipi, leg 2: I had to get us in a good position, to fight the Dutch J. Williams, leg 3: I tried my best. I knew the last 200m were going to be my strength, I was going to kill the others. Just hold on. N. Yeargin, leg 4: I finished strong and fought against the Polish. On the last 50m I thought "just hold on".
Gold 3:20.87 EL
SAALBERG: This is my first gold medal ever, it feels so special.
KLAVER: When the whole stadium sang Happy birthday, I got all the goosebumps, it was so specail. But as the birthday present, gold medal is better hehe.
DE WITTE: This was really crazy! When Femke crossed the finish line I thought about "Oh my God, Femke is triple European champion."
BOL: It was such an amazing race. I really love to run with my girls and against other runners. This Championships feels special to me.
Silver 3:21.68 SB
KIELBASINSKA (1st leg): We really wanted to win but I guess that is a normal attitude. We always want to win - if you wouldn't want to win, what kind of athlete would you be. The track was very wet, it was not super hot, not to mention we were running against the amazing Femke Bol and Lieke Klaver. We were almost sure we would have to battle it out with them, and also with the British girls. We were sure tat it would be a very interesting final, and we promised ourselves to give our best. I think we did, as this is our second best result ever.

KACZMAREK (Anchor leg): Of course, I felt the responsible for getting us through that finish line because I received the baton in fourth position. I knew I really had to fight to close the gap. I'm not fully satisfied, because we wanted to win, but also happy that we finished second and come away with a silver medal.
