A. Burghardt, leg 1: This was a fantastic year for me with a silver medal from the Olympic Games (bob sleigh) bronze from Eugene and now this gold medal here. On the paper it looks easy and good, but it was hard and tough. I am glad that I got fit and into shape so quickly. Running here with this audience was overwhelming, in front of our home crowd. I think European championships should always take place in Germany (laughs) L. Mayer, leg 2: I was overwhelmed already after the heats, I enjoyed every single breath of it. I had not hoped to run again in tonight's final. No I am lacking words to express my feelings. I am coming back from difficult years and this moment now will give me big motivation for a very, very long time. G. Lueckenkemper, leg 3: If someone would have told me before the championships that I would come home with two gold medals, I would have said he is crazy. I cannot yet seize what happened this week, with my gold medal in the 100m, really phat. The fall and having to go to hospital for my wound being stitched. It makes me happy to be able to race again tonigh with the girls. This was real phat teamwork, also from Jessica Bianca Wessolly who helped in the 4x100m first round when I could not run. She merits the teamplayer award because she ran the 4x400m heat. German sprint is amazing! I think that this gold medal is more important than the bronze medal from Eugene. R. Haase, leg 4: Before celebrating tonight we have to pick up those medals. We are really excited to get them. Gina always told us that she has a gold medal and that she wants one more medal tonight. One more, so we made it. We will have a "little" party (laughs)

DOSSO - We are very happy, because our women's team keeps growing, and we come away with this medal.

KADDARI - I already had a medal at U23, and to be able to get another medal now. Actually, I'm feeling over the moon for taking another medal - it doesn't matter that it is bronze.

BONGIORNI - Personally, it was a really tough year with with some bad luck in between, but I had the motivation to come here and to win that little triangle [the medal]. We knew it was going to be a tough ask, because we had some very strong opponents, but we gave it out best.

PAVESE - This is a fantastic feeling. I gave it all I've got, and all I could think of was to do a good transtion and grab that batton. This crowd was amazing, it is indeed an amazing feeling.

P. Skrzyszowska, leg 1: It is amazing, this was the first time I saw my race at the hurdles now in the mixed zone after the relay. I did what I should have done. I started very fast and kept the rythm until the end. So the job is done. I am so happy with the two medals in just one evening. I had enough energy because after my individual race, I felt lot of emotions and endorphines. And I was taken straigh away to the relay after the finish so I did not have the time to even realize what just had happened. But that was crazy because that was my first echange with Anna since Tokyo but it was really good.
A. Kielbasinska, leg 2: It is very special resut for our team and also especially for me. A few years ago, I was still looking for my speed and then I decided to change it for the 400m. But still, thanks to my coaches, I was still able to run really fast - like the best in my life. We knew that but the priority was still the 400m and the 4x400m. As I already did my job, we got this offer from the 4x100 coach and we did not refuse. It was also for me very exciting and we knew that no risk, no fun. We really wanted to do that and it worked out and this is my third medal here, in the 32-years...
E. Swoboda, last leg: We took the risk but we knew that each of us is very quick and we managed to improve the national record. We managed the releay very well after a couple of years, we worked for this and we are glad we fulfilled our target.
