Gold 12.53
It is amazing, this was the first time I saw my race at the hurdles now in the mixed zone after the relay. I did what I should have done. I started very fast and kept the rythm until the end. So the job is done. I am so happy with the two medals in just one evening. I had enough energy because after my individual race, I felt lot of emotions and endorphines. And I was taken straigh away to the relay after the finish so I did not have the time to even realize what just had happened. But that was crazy.
Silver 12.69 =NR
I ran 12.70 this year, and I was hoping I could run faster - which I did, twice in the same evening, 12.69. I am really happy, and my plan for the semis was to stay close to Pia [Skrzyszowska], because I knew she is a really good runner with very good technique, so I was very happy that I run well in the final. My plan was to run a good race, and nothing else matters. I was trying to focus on myself, and not anyone else. It feels amazing! After running that National Record in the semis, my coach was very calm, I was very calm, so we knew I could run fast - In fact, he was happy that I ran a National Record, and told me to do it again - and I did! I think that I am the first track medal for Hungary this year. I came out here wanting a medal, and everyone is going to be very happy. 3 medals for Hungary at these Championships is a great achievement for our country.
Bronze 12.74
This is so beautiful, I cannot believe it. The competition was over so quickly. I am here with my whole family and we were really successfull with gold, silver and bronze. But not only my family is here, also friends from school, because I just finished school this year. This is incredibly wonderful for me. And it is so amazing to share my joy with them, with the ones I love. I was not happy with lane 8 but then I said to myself "just take it". During the race I pushed, pushed. This sport and this stadium are really magical. I love to live moments like this one, I have tears of joy. My sister wrote me before the race and told me how great it will be to run a final here with the crowd on fire. And she told me to remember how much fun it is to compete. I want to enjoy my upcoming competitions, especially those in Switzerland.
