Event Reports

Fifth 2.21 q
Finally, I was already feeling good during warm-up - I did some great jumps in the warm-up - so, I tried to switch off my engine, and everything, to avoid losing less energy as possble. That's probably the reason why I missed that jump at 2.21 - I was already thinking about not losing any energy. The track is great, the atmosphere is great, one of the best ever, and I hope weather in the final is going to be like this. The German fans are already hyped up, so I will try to make sure they have fun as always, and to involve them in our competition - Looks like they like it, so we will see on Thursday. I will keep my fingers crossed, because sometimes it rains, and if it rains, it will be harder for the crowd to come out here. There's nothing secret [about what is written in the back of his bib], "Danje Greg" means "C'mon Greg" - he is a good friend of mine who is competing today in the final of the 1500 metres in Rome, at European Swimming Championships. I couldn't be there, so it is just a way to support him - Europeans connected!
