I am very pleased with what I already achieved in this first day of the competition, and, right now, it is important I rest for tomorrow's semi finals. Tomorrow, there will be other athletes joining in - they have the fastest european times this season - so I need to rest, so I can aim for a good result then. It is true I slowed down towards the finish line - I didn't feel too well, mainly because it's been a long time since I last ran this distance in an individual race. I ran this same distance in Eugene as part of the relay team, but it is not the same thing. I am hoping for good things to happen next.
