This means a lot!. I was running next to some great athletes, and it was a great battle on the track, This a reward for all of those who support me. This is very special because I was running up against Pascal Martinot-Lagarde, who is a force to be reckoned with. It was a very close finish, so I have no idea how it happened. We knew this would be a tough competition, But I also knew Martinot-Larged would have to do a great race to beat me. I am very pleased with the way that I was able to maintain my rythmn throughout the race, so having such a close finish with Martinot-Lagarde means a lot to me. The transition from U23 was smooth, because last year I was already achieving good results at senior level. I'm still on my last year in the U23 category, so this win today truly consolidates the hard work that I have been putting in.

This was a hard race. At the start I knew that I was in a big shape. I made a big mistake at the eighth hurdle. But I am overjoyed. This is my first medal. My mother, my brother and my nephews are here and we will celebrate tonight. I am so proud, this is my first medal, my first final. My family is here. It is unbelievable for me, it is crazy. It is great for me to medal with Pascal, he is a great competitor, he is an inspiration for a whole generation of French hurdlers. He achieved crazy titles and times. So it is wonderful to be win a medal together with him.
